Citizen of the Year

Kay Corbin, right, was presented as Citizen of the Year at the recent Annual Gordo Chamber Banquet. The award was presented by District Judge James Moore. Mrs. Corbin received a plaque from the Gordo Chamber and a plaque from the Alabama Legislature.

Pioneer of the Year

Jack Pate, left, was awarded Pioneer of the Year by the Gordo Area Chamber of Commerce. Ken Bailey was the presenter. Mr. Pate received a plaque from the Gordo Chamber and from the Alabama State Legislature.
